New SRO rule changes and proposals were announced by the SEC for the week of February 27 to March 3, 2017.

The SEC voted to adopt final rule and form amendments to require certain public companies to include a hyperlink to each filed exhibit in their registration statements.

The SEC voted to propose amending SEA Rule 15c2-12 to require disclosure by issuers of municipal securities of two additional types of events to the MSRB following primary offerings.

The SEC proposed an amendment that would require data submissions by public companies and mutual funds to use eXtensible Business Reporting Language.

The SEC voted to request comment on disclosures required by Industry Guide 3 – "Statistical Disclosure by Bank Holding Companies."
