Next Week is AI Week

Next week, we will run a series of articles as to the treatment of AI in various non-US jurisdictions, with one article running each day, from different jurisdictions outside of the US.

Financial regulators around the world are considering how to regulate the use of AI by the institutions they regulate. While there is a good deal of commonality to the issues raised by the regulators (for example as to governance, explainability and discriminatory impact), there are meaningful differences in regulators' points of emphasis. For global financial institutions that plan to make use of AI in their locations around the world, it is important to understand, and learn from, these national differences in the regulation of AI.
