SIFMA issued a Report on electronic bond trading platforms for U.S. corporate and municipal securities. SIFMA found that the "platforms have primarily focused on the corporate bond market, which has approximately $8 trillion outstanding and over $1.4 trillion issued in each of the last three years."

FINRA submitted a proposal to delay the implementation of new Debt Research Rules until April 22, 2016. The delay was requested in response to industry questions regarding implementation of the requirements of the new rules.

The MSRB requested comments on draft amendments to MSRB Rules that would include guidance on (i) establishing the prevailing market price for a security and (ii) calculating markups and markdowns for that prevailing market price.
