FINRA Proposes Rule Amendments to Revise Series 23 and 24 Examination Programs (Fed. Reg.)

FINRA proposed immediately effective rule amendments, which revise the content outline and selection specifications for the General Securities Principal Sales Supervisor Module ("Series 23") and the General Securities Principal ("Series 24") examination programs, that were published in the Federal Register.

FINRA reported that it is making changes to the format of the content outlines of both examinations. Specifically, the revisions update the material to reflect changes to the laws, rules and regulations covered by the examinations and to incorporate the functions and associated tasks currently performed by a General Securities Principal.

Although the amendments are immediately effective, interested parties are invited to comment on the proposals until September 2, 2014.
