The SEC requested comments on a FINRA proposal to transfer NASD Rule 2830 ("Investment Company Securities") to the FINRA Rulebook, where it will become FINRA Rule 2341, and to make only "non-substantive, technical changes to the text." The rule regulates members' activities in connection with the sale and distribution of securities of companies registered under the Investment Company Act. The Rule change is effective immediately. The request for comments was published in the Federal Register.
