SEC Requests Comments on Proposed Interpretation of "Automated Quotation" under Reg. NMS (Fed. Reg.)
The Federal Register published the SEC request for comment on a proposed interpretation of the definition of "automated quotation" under Rule 600(b)(3) of Regulation NMS. The SEC indicated that the proposal is a response to the "extensive" comments it received concerning Investors Exchange LLC's application to register as a national securities exchange under Section 6 of the Securities Exchange Act.

Comments on the interpretation of the definition are due by April 14, 2016.
