FINRA Withdraws Proposed Rule Change Regarding Quotation Requirements for Unlisted Equity Securities (Fed. Reg.)
FINRA's withdrawal notice of its proposed rule change was published in the Federal Register. The change involves the quotation requirements for unlisted equity securities and the deletion of the rules relating to the OTC Bulletin Board Service.
On January 15, 2015, the SEC issued a Notice of Designation of Longer Period for Commission Action regarding the proposed rule change, and stated that the proposed change would adopt rules that raised questions as to whether the change was consistent with the requirements of Exchange Act Section 15A(b)(6), Section 15A(b)(11) and Section 17B.
